About Radio Service
Radio Service is a full-service radio consultancy. We can take you from initial consultation and development, right through project management and selection of the right equipment for you, to installation and lifetime support. RS is based in the north of England and has been serving a range of clients, including manufacturing, schools and public organisations, waste management and leisure and entertainment for over 50 years. This is the year in which we hope to be of service to you.
Established in 1971
For more than 50 years the team here at RS has advised, supplied, installed and supported thousands of radio systems. Our technical knowledge is second to none and we pride ourselves on providing the best quality solutions possible.
Over the last 50 years we:
- Supported numerous NHS Trusts and local government agencies.
- Produced the world’s fastest mobile data terminal for use with PMR radio – Delta in 2004, while winning the FCS (Federation of Communication Services) award for innovative product design,
- Provided the first shopwatch system in the North West in 1993,
- Supplied and installed our first radio system in 1971 to Black Bull Taxis in Preston, Lancashire,
